The 52 Lists Project – List 1 done!
Today marks the end of the first week of 2017. Yay! Have you all started listing your goals and dreams for this year? If not, don’t fret, it’s never too late but you would want to do so sooner than later to give yourself a reasonable time to accomplish the goals you have set. One thing I find helpful to stay productive and stay on track to meeting a goal is writing a list. It could be as simple as a grocery list, a list of songs I want to add to Tristan’s 1st birthday party playlist, a daily to-do list for my work as an investigator (my 9-5 gig), a list of household chores(which I need to do more often this year), or the list could be as complex as a list of weekly goals for every week of the year which includes specific tasks to complete daily to reach these weekly goals. Thankfully, I have found THE most helpful(so far) tool to help me discover what it is I want to accomplish this year and help me to create ways to actually accomplish my goals. I love this journal so much that I had to share with you all. Recently featured on Oprah.com, The 52 Lists Project: A year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration by Moorea Seal is not an ordinary journal. It’s complete with 52 lists, one for each week of the year that can help you to discover things about yourself and your life that can spark creativity, productivity and ignite the power that’s already inside of you. I already completed List 1(for the first week of 2017) and looking forward to completing each list for all 52 weeks of the year. List 1 asks you to list your goals and dreams for the year. It follows with a “Take Action” section where Moorea asks, what is the first step toward achieving your biggest goal and then pick one thing you can do this week to get started. I think it’s a wonderful way to journal and take control of your life and work towards the goals you have for the year. I definitely recommend this journal to everyone who likes journaling and to those who want to discover more about themselves and create their best year yet. I purchased the book at walmart.com but you can also find it on the Moorea Seal website here. The website is fabulous. You’ll also find an array of cool items like hand crafted jewelry and leather goods. I’ve also heard great things about Moorea Seal’s 52 lists for Happiness: Weekly Journaling Inspiration for Positivity, Balance, and Joy. Another journal i’ll be purchasing soon.
Freebie alert: You can actually print out 7 of the 52 lists thanks to Oprah.com. Check it out here.
